For those that have used ROF2... any chance the hotbuttons hold more than 5 lines ? I'm desperately running out of space hehe.

RoF2 kinda offers same stuff as uf with few features. So as for hot bars still would be same 5 lines and 10 spots on bar. But the allowing the casting from bags is a huge bonus to rof2 would be able to scrap mq2exchange which is causing mass desyncs here and item poof till zone. I wish rof2 was a thing here would def draw back a lot players as when i spoke with vaion privately we spoke how a lot friends had mention to him they do not play here atm because there is no rof2. Also was main reason he even began building it for here. So if that could be a thing again on the table i think it could really help the server. Also could and would grant 10 bag slots iirc few more bank slots. Rof2 has its perks.

Yeah Vaion mentioned ROF2 was top priority now so let the powers do their thang :)

MQ2Exchange you say.. ?

You mean i didnt have to spend quite some time trying to write and test a 5 line hotbutton to swap and click items for me, risking leaving items on the cursor? :P
Doh..

In my experience, players don't usually pick a server because of the client supported, they'll pick it because they love the content. I definitely don't think many would actually leave the server because of lack of rof2 support. It's a priority to get THF code to support rof2 and it'll happen as soon as possible but that's because it would be beneficial all round, not just because of any specific reason.

Content is primary, but the changes in ROF2 compared to uf are HUGE quality of life changes.

Definitely a great quality of life enhancement. I just think Lillu was trying to say that the lack of support is not because anyone here denies that rof2 is beneficial and that, for whatever group of players who supposedly left purely on the basis of no rof2 support then there's not a lot that can be done to change that except do what we're doing now.

Essentially, it's not going to come faster because some people may or may not have decided to play here because it's not here.

Please do not think I meant purely people stop playing here because there was no Rof2 support but it was a reason given by a lot friends of his himself which you can ask him to verify. But just as an example there is p99 its purely titanium only rocks up to 2k members a day at times. There is also 2 other p99 replica who have same rule set etc but are on rof2 client. They only see from 20 to 150 people online. So there is a place for a client for some servers. I am sorry if i came off as its why every one left or a majority. But the ones we spoke to who use to play here is was a huge factoring reason.

I look at Emulators having GM a lot of them as well as live eq for over 15 years like this. You have a crowd who loves the old school feeling. Wants to relive the old school dreams which is why they choose to play on a server that only allows a older client to give that benefit. Then there is the new age players who done every thing the hard way and have evolved and adapted to new age. Which is where rof2 comes in some prefer being able to cast inside bags verse having to pull them to inventory to cast and possibly lose the item on a desync forcing you to camp or zone to regain the item.

While i will agree content is key as it is what drove me here in first place i look at it from all angels. Ease of play to me is just as important as the content that comes along with it. I mean no harm or disrespect though just voicing my thoughts on it.
