Barter Issue

I just wanted to inform barter is not functioning properly.

Once you select "Start Barter" the icon switches to "Stop Barter," however, nothing else happens.

Right clicking barter character gives you the con.

I'm 99% sure this wasn't implemented our end yet. Perhaps we can look at it in future.

It was working no problem on UF. I guess an update will come after the fires have been doused.

Found out a bit more of information that maybe helpful.

The /buyer functions on UF client, not with RoF2.

The /barter is no longer recognized on the server side. Reference: the welcome windows' available buyers & sellers.

You may sell to said buyer using UF client(buyer) to UF client(seller), this is not recognized UF (buyer) to RoF2(seller).

Here is an update to the barter / buyer system.

It works on the server, kind of, its something to do on the client side.

UF to UF barter/buyer works flawlessly. Where, in my testing, any other combination does not.



Details of findings below:
*note: Where "buyer" is the character wanting to make the purchase for an item and "barter" is the character wanting to sell the item.

-ROF2 Buyer to ROF2 Barter - Not recognized in the global bazaar message of available buyers. Buyer is not recognized in the /barter window. No visual tag. Barter is unable to right click buyer.

-UF Buyer to UF Barter - Buyer is recognized in the global bazaar msg of available buyers. Buyer is recognized in the /barter window. Visual "Buyer" tag. Barter is able to right click buyer to buy item. Barter is able to choose an item and click "Sell" for said item. Item and currency is properly exchanged.

-UF Buyer to ROF2 Barter - Buyer is recognized in the global bazaar msg of available buyers. Buyer is recognized in the /barter window. Barter (ROF2 client) does NOT visually recognize the "Buyer" tag. Barter is unable to right click buyer to open barter window and initiate the transaction.

-ROF2 buyer to UF Barter - Buyer is NOT recognized in the global bazaar msg of available buyers. Buyer is NOT recognized in the /barter window. Barter (UF client) visually recognizes the "Buyer" tag. Barter is able to right click buyer to open barter window and initiate the transaction. However, window does not have item available for exchange and "Sell" button is greyed out.
