DSK 3 Crash

1.19.20 11:16pm CST, half my toons went to character select the other half said entering Lake Of Ill Omen but are in a version of Shadowhaven that has nothing in it.

There were no zone crash logged, I'd assume this was due to some networking problem maybe? Were you trying to teleport out or something? Sounds really odd.

Were you doing a particular event at the time?

At the time it happened, no I was just standing there not doing anything. The other three were in the process of using donor guild hall pets.

I found the relevant logs and all it says at that time is that a bunch of clients went linkdead. So maybe it was the network to blame although the zoning to shadowhaven is a bit of mystery. Will keep an eye on it

Just to add, this happened to three different people living on three different parts of the continent. I couldn't even click through any doors in the zone just before this happened, yet I could see characters moving on other screens.

Ok, a bunch of people zoned out just prior to everyone remaining going linkdead, so I'll profile the zoning out process to see if there's any slow running queries that might hang the zone. There was a similar problem with zoning into a zone so the reverse might have similar issues.
