DKS1 Vampire Bane Earring

Hey guys,

Is there a trick to getting a Vampire Bane Earring earring?

I need it to kill the vampires in the zone but the second mob in the zone is a vampire and i cant kill it.

How do you do that quest?

I want to make sure I'm not missing something because I'm already playing another game, this not fun now.

I zoned into dsk1 right as you were logging out, and I could see that you were doing things the right way. You had killed all the non-vampire spawns that you could. Eventually, you would have gotten all the needed pieces. Yeah I know its a pain, but compared to so many other grinds that we have to do in EQ, its actually not that bad.

For some of this stuff, I would rather have 10 challenges like this, than do the other things that I have had to do to progress. At least with the earring, you KNOW what to do, instead of having to waste time guessing and going in useless directions.

This is why I have made so many posts/spoilers for zones and fights.
