Need to shut my pet up!

Hail All,

Recently returned to the server and I seem to remember someone telling me how to shut up my pets while afk.

I'm using mq2 and my pets just keep saying "Now holding, master. I will not start attacks until ordered" or, "I am no longer holding master" when I'm just standing there doing nothing. If I leave the keyboard for a time those around me will be spammed with this, and this is not what I want.

As I said, I was once told how to fix this, and I thought I had, but since it's returned I figured I'd ask the community about it. I remember going into one of my files and changing a value, but I'm not sure where or what to set it to.

Where does it go? Is it just a command that I type into the chat, is it part of the mq2 ini?

As MQ2 users, we know that most of the dlls have their own ini files. But I guess that at some time in the past, they thought to have one overall ini file for settings. Perhaps that did not work out.

I think it was you, as Jaton, that made me aware of the spam in the first place long ago, iirc. I think I got it set up right.

Now I have to read about all the new stuff. I can't even BEGIN to understand what ROF2 is, and why I would need it.

The / command can be done in game. then a /melee save saves the ini file.

Or when EQ is not open, you can edit the ini as posted and save it there, then load eq and it'll be gone.
