I'm having an issue trying to get them to work independent of each other. (I'm on UF client) I like to keep certain Luclin models active. The elves, HE in particular, are petty well done. However there are certain races that are just plain butt ugly, and the classic models blow them out of the water, like Iksar.
What I want to do: load velious textures for the classic models. In the eqclient.ini there's an option for LoadVeliousArmorsWithLuclin=TRUE, which I set to TRUE because if I have any single luclin model enabled then the velious textures will not load if it's set to FALSE.
HERE is my problem: It loads the velious textures for ALL race models, regardless if Luclin model is enabled or not. And on most of these races, if that character is wearing an item flagged with a velious texture and if that character is also loaded as a luclin model, the polys on that armor just go completely silly.
My question: is it possible to correct this issue? I've looked around in my ini file and can't seem to find anything that may deal with it. The answer is probably pretty obvious and I'm just dumb as a doorbell when it comes to things like this. I just enjoy the velious textures on classic models on some races, and the luclin models on some others. For the moment I'm stuck using classic models on some races without velious textures because it bugs out the characters I have that I prefer Luclin models with.
