I tried that too. Actually, I installed a fresh copy of UF and started over. No custom anything except the server files. Same issue.

I can't believe I can't play the game on double xp weekend.

I have done all listed above and I now get a client crash error before it comes to the character select screen. Any help? I am having the same issue.
