Re: THF Ranks feedback thread

Hey Enrikk, ltns. 8-) If I say something that you already know, don't be too harsh on me. 8-) To see a synopsis of what you got, use command #myrank in game. It's a little bit better than the Item Tier List in Magelo caused it adds up how many points you have, and tells you what you need. In the cas...

Re: Beginner using mq2melee

The only way I could get that error is by using /removebuffs instead of /removebuff. 8-) If you are talking about the werewolf buff from Sune, thats from Moon Curse Rk. III. This buff in-turn procs another spell called Form of the Moon Cursed which shows up in your Song box, not your Buff box. I don...

Re: Xmas raid {{SPOILER}}

If you look up the spell you are using in the Spells webtool, it will say how many curse counters are removed. Assuming that the curse subroutine uses simple arithmetic, then you should be able to figure out how many times to volley your healers.

Re: Xmas raid {{SPOILER}}

To add to Rude's post: The semi-rare wrist is not really semi-rare now. It's the Shissar Empire Badge of Honor (Tier 1), item 4476, and drops off trash mobs. It's a neck and wrist item but I suspect most players just click it from inventory. Its upside is that any class can use it, it can be targete...

Bags on the hotbar

This one is going to be awkward to explain... One of the ways that I try to speed up progress when doing things that are inventory intensive is to temporarily drag a bag (container) to the hotbar as a hotbutton. Worked fine last year for the scavanger hunt and pristine quest. But now, not so much. A...

Re: Punctuation in scripting (ini files)

Ok, found out (shoutout to dannuic at the MQ2 Discord) that in the MQ2 ini (macroquest.ini) there is a setting called CycleNextWindow=. It set to use the Grave Accent and it overrides the EQ key setting. Thats why I had to shutdown MQ2 to get rid of it. I have now set it (and a few other settings) t...

Najena keys

I don't think some of them are working properly. Or perhaps its the doors themselves that are bugged. My toon Jaton has the bloodstained key on his keyring, yet the door to Drelzna won't open for him. And before anyone says it, yes yes I know a rogue with a lockpick set can open it. But thats not th...

Punctuation in scripting (ini files)

I just thought I would share a couple little FYIs for players who are new to using scripting programs like MQ2/E3 and are not familiar with some of the small yet annoying aspects of them. Using the Grave Accent: [ ` ] this is ascii character 39...to older people like me who learned cursive writing i...

Re: New player

There does not seem to be any. The ones that exist are too old to be relevant. You can get bits and pieces of info from the Third-Party Software section. I can help but like I mentioned in our private msgs, I advise you to install Discord as it's a much better way to communicate complex subjects tha...

wpgmlp: 1)I didn't jump to conclusions. I divided your post up...the things you yourself said...into discreet points and replied to each. Were some of my replies strongly worded? Yes. But your post was strongly worded too. 2)I never outright insulted you. I did insult some of your conclusions. Not t...
