If I open the tradeskill container via CTRL or not its still the same result, though when i open with CTRL the combine button is greyed out and it says my class cannot use it...

You can always try the Behemoth and Hivequeen quests in the back of the Vale. They both have a really nice aug as reward when completed for all participants. (Group only though?)
