Sorry guys - moved and bought a new PC over the last week or so. The list of files looked at by the patcher is publicly accessible, let me install a few more applications and I'll PM you list.
I have downloaded the most recent .net framework. But for some reason I get an error when it installs. Is there a way that the .net framework can be incorporated into the patcher so if others like myself have this problem, that they can still update and play. Wish there was - the install varies fro...
Can you guys give me a file that may have been changed or is missing? I'll look through the index and see if that file or any others that may be related isn't part of the update list.
I'm using stock UF and running the patcher didn't mess anything up at all. Will continue to investigate.
There is definitely something weird going on with the install you're using. If the installer was overwriting any source asset files, everyone who ran the patcher would be seeing humans. My recommendation would be to find a different install source and try that one out. Make sure you completely delet...
Vaion was tweaking some of that code this past week to add some new things in. This may just be an OOPS! He'll look into it. Thanks for bringing this up!
We'll be creating and keeping an up to date .zip that includes all of the files. Vaion is compiling that now and will communicate when it's available. We'll also post instructions on how to do everything just to make sure nothing is missed
My suggestion would be to just have the patcher sitting in both install folders with two shortcuts to your desktop. That should solve all of your problems and be very easy to maintain after the initial download.
I'll speak with Vaion on this. We won't be making anymore installers; however we could potentially create a .zip. You'd have to unzip the files into your EQ folder.
