I have never had any particle effects on either of the computers I run EQ THF on. I was previously doing P99 with the Titanium Edition install disks, and I had spell particles. From the Underfoot install download from THF site, I don't. I am sure there is either something to switch in one of the ini...

Same here.

I installed THF on my laptop successfully 2 days ago with no incident. Patcher ran fine.
