Brown Chitin Sleeves

I just obtained this item. I was under the impression that the focus effect was the same as the Platinum Snake Guard with just a different name is the database shows. I was informed a few months back that the focus effect would increase the dmg of poison procs from a Rogue with the Platinum Snake Guard. I tested the Brown Chitin Sleeves today and found that there was no change at all in the poison dmg. I was using Soul Burn (which actually doesn't show a poison proc buff, but still works. I think this is a bug). I don't know if this was changed (nerfed).

according to official Ala,

Dragon Thunder - affects only Magic based nukes
where
Dragon Malady - affects only Disease based nukes

so, neither of them affects poison.

Thanks for your reply. I checked Alla and found an item with "poison allowed". I tried the Strong Spider Fur from Naggy's Lair, but it still didn't add any extra dmg. Maybe focus effects just don't affect poison procs like I thought/heard.

you looking at wrong focus however, the focus on that item is Discordant Poison, not Venom
