Magician 2.0 usefulness

I disagree. Following the same logic, it is like saying the 2.0 is worthless because there are donator items, and therefore the 2.0 should change to make it workable even if you donate. Yes, I know, I am reaching, but whoever says the 2.0 is worthless because people can buy t8 before they are t8 ready is reaching as well

I could also say that many 1.5s (if not all) are worthless as they are just stepping stones to the 2.0 and they should have an extra effect to make it worth keeping and using after having 2.0s...

Its the inevitable fact of progression. The 2.0s were created nearly 1- 1 1/2 years ago on this server. At the time they were the top and best items next to the donors. Obviously they would eventually get outdated and people would find less of a reason to use the clicky.

Right now the T8 pets are the best available, but a few months down the road it's very and highly likely that even the T8 pet will get outdated by the epic 3.0s that we are planning.


It's the never ending cycle of progression, things get outdated. You dont use your 1.0 pet anymore do you?

Simple Fix:
/Remove all T8 pet spells from players not T8 flagged.
/turn all T8 pet Spells into No-Drop
/Enjoy Progression

My point is that the 2.0s have aged very differently. The Wizard 2.0 as I've pointed out is something almost all wizards still use, no matter their gearing. The Magician 2.0 falls by the wayside. Honestly, I'm not sure how much other classes use their 2.0s on a daily basis at the high end, but at least most of the SKs I know still pull out their 2.0 to click pretty regularly, as well as Shammys. It seems that Magicians are in the huge minority that totally forgo their 2.0 as soon as they get an upgrade.
