I ended up putting it in an 8 slot. sure doesnt belong there. It appears its just the 16 slot that it doesnt like.

No I use uf client and I'm trying to use it as an 8 spot face and get same error as you did

I put it in a 16 slot in the class helm from nadox, it let me put it there, but before that tried the 8 slot in the fairy mask and it said it was not for this class, or something to that effect. Im thinking its tagged some how only to go in class armor some how not all/all armor.
