BROKEN - ToV Monk Chest Focus

I picked up a new arm slot item in ST last night that had Vampiric Thunder. It applied to one proc effect (Kiss of Life) but not to many others. I see this is because other procs are Frost Damage, Fire Damage. Is there an effect that would boost all spell damage or all proc damage?

"thunder" type focus effect "magic" dmg spells and procs, and lifetaps fall into this category. You need fire and ice foci for fire and ice spell dmg procs and spells.

In each tier you will be able to collect gear to have all spell types focused. In each tier they go up in power, so T2 is dragon, T3 Vampric, T4 Choatic, T5 True, T6 Acient, and T7+ is Dark. Dark is a 90% boost!

I think it would be better if you could start a new thread for each new issues/suggestions/etc. Since monks are definitely behind in DPS where they should be, we are open to any reasonable suggestion to balance their class specific skills, spells or whatever.

Well, since it related directly to the ToV Monk Chest, I thought it was relevant here.

I would need to see a parse of a T2 Monk vs a T2 SK or whatever class you are trying to compare them to. Right now, from what I have seen, you are comparing the base dmg and buffs given to them from the Chest focuses, but not the actual strength of the class during those phases of progression.

Yes T2 SK Chest may be a significant boost to SK damage compared to the Monk Chest, but if the Monk is already 5000% higher than a SK in terms of DPS, then it would make sense

Not saying you are wrong, only that more collected information is needed here. I was not around during these phases of THF so not quite sure how they were designed/balanced with classes at the time.
