Fiery Leather Armor

I know I'm probably one of maybe 2 or 3 people on this server that would even care about this but I'm curious how the weights for each item are arrived upon.

pants: 0.5
tunic: 0.3
helm: 1.5
wrist: 1
arms: 2
boots: 2

I get that these can also be worn by druids and beastlords who don't care about weight whatsoever but I feel like the helm, wrist, boots, and arms are disproportionately heavy compared to say the tunic and pants.

Not a huge deal but it's something I noticed as I've been trying to shave some weight from my monk.

Also now that I've noticed it some of the donator armor seems pretty heavy compared to equivalent pieces.

For instance:

aegis, shield of the storms: 0.3
ares, shield of immortality: 2.5

I know that ares is a better item stat wise but again with the disproportionate weights.

Not sure if still true but
viewtopic.php?p=41653#p41653

also here
http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=25718

but both posts are older guess will double check on my monk in a bit.

Edit seems to be true AC was the same with 18 WT - 35 WT checked via #mystats while removing inventory weight.

I think the last time I checked the item weight was around 2002 or 2003 , thanks for bringing this up !

Sianette is just a perfect example of harmony, unlike tiny heavy fat d0rfs.

Interesting.

I can't say I've checked #mystats with regards to my AC and weight. I just see my ac go down on my inventory screen and assumed it was actually going down.

Is there anyway to shut that off if indeed monk ac isn't affected by weight at all?

Shut what off ? I assume you use SoF SoD or UF client ? if so almost everything you see in your inventory window is not shown fully accurate, same for magelo.
The only certain way to see the accurate stats is via #mystats.

Also if you want check it yourself out, go to a bank type #mystats and put stuff from you inventory(not your equipped stuff) in the bank, each time your weight changes in the inventory click update and look if the AC changes.

as a monk, you don't care at all about the weight on this server. so no worry.

AC isn't related in #mystats window

Jeeze I feel like an idiot now lol.

I've played on here for over a year and I know for a fact I've ignored gear that would've been an upgrade because it was too heavy.

Thanks for the info guys.
