I am getting a resist message, along with the "can't be messed" message I am used to.

Seems to only happen with Valik (Haven't gone further into DSK3 to check other bosses).

I never see an outright resist message from any other boss I've attempted, I usually only see the "can't be messed" message. (VT, HoH, Dsk2, Nadox)



All in all, I really wouldn't mind re-hashing the Enchanter donor robe discussion I started almost two years ago. It just seems silly that it's the only donor BP able to be "resisted" and also have parts nullified by 95% of the raid bosses.

I assume it isn't that high up on the "to-do" list, but even something like a 7 minute recast MGB Gather Mana or MGB 50k Rune would be more useful than this is, currently.

Also (and please forgive my ignorance): Does Visage of the Enchanted (From Ethulin, The Burning Star [Enchanter donor weapon, group version])

[Slot 2] Chance to Proc on Melee Swing: Touch of the Enchanted (110% procrate)
[Slot 12] Modify Damage v2: +15%

Stack with the Death March line? I am not well versed on the difference between Slots / v2 etc.. It's all foreign to me. Sorry

the portion of death march that boost dmg is below, this is from rank 4.

[Slot 5] Modify Physical Damage: +25%

So my guess would be they stack but I can't say for sure. I can help ya test next time im online.

While I dont have an enc donor robe or weapon myself, I would agree they are vastly under-powered when compared to any other donor BP and weapon.

I, personally, would also like to see this potentially addressed. It is a bit of a shame when so many of the other BPs are gamechangers. There seem to be really easily viable solutions to help solve this disparity.

Get a list going of what you all want to suggest and we will discuss it

1) MGB 50k Rune
2) MGB Gather Mana

I dont have one so take my opinion lightly, but i think it should be both 50k mana and 50k rune for the raid, on like a 1min CD. For example the tank legs are 50k self rune every 10seconds.

Would love to hear others thoughts on this.

More suggestions.. (I have no idea what is within the realm of possibility.. so if something just can't be done because of mechanics restrictions, etc.. just say so.)


1 minute long over-over haste (like 25% on top of what they are already doing) so you can time a click with a rogue / monk / zerker and really do a crazy amount of burn.

Is it within the realm of possibility to "pass" aggro over to the tank? Like a reverse AE taunt? Basically if a bunch of adds spawn during a fight their aggro could be re-directed to the player that is highest on the Boss's hate list with a click of the robe.

Perhaps just an insane personal Rune? Not sure what a good number would be... 100k, 150k? I mean, SK's get a BP click that basically makes them immortal for the duration.. I'd be curious what they average tap back during a BP click (plus what gets tapped by group members) - and the Rune could be something close to that.

The current BP's (Sans Enchanter) fall into three (and a half) distinct categories, IMHO...

Tank: BP makes you [almost] un-killable for duration of your click.

Melee Dps (And Wizard): BP makes you [almost] guaranteed top dps for duration of your click.
....pet Dps: We know how godly these two pets are.

Priest: Makes everybody in your area of effect [almost] unkillable, better in every aspect, and even if they do die.. theres a 25% chance they'll come back to life!

The hybrid Bst clicks that are a legit combination of some of the other BP's.

You "feel" or see all of these BP's in action immediately when they are cast. A raid will know when a Rogue BP kicks on or when a Mage / Necro pet is added to the mix.

I think that's what the Enchanter robe lacks.. a presence. When I click my Enchanters robe people should know.. Just like all the other robes, there should be a difference in the action.

What if, instead of a charm.. I could "doppleganger" a mob.. for a minute duration.. every 7 minutes. Basically making a duplicate of that mob, and it's melee output / mitigation, for 1 minute. Any mob, any zone.

(this suggestion is my favorite)

Let me try building a donor robe with that clicky effect and some of the other things we've talked about..

Clicky effect: Enigmatic Doppleganger - Creates a 1 for 1 mirror of the targeted NPC lasting for 1 minute or until the doppleganger dies. Mirroring melee output and mitigation (does not mirror AE effects or scripted timers). Recast time 7 minutes
Worn Effect: Penetrating Euphoria - Your unmatched command over mesmerization spells causes them to be unable to be resisted by any target subject to this line of spells. (Basically, makes your mes unresistable to mobs able to be mezzed)
Focus Effect: Sovereignty of the Mind - Allows your charms the ability to Pierce through a NPCs charm resistance by 100%. (This will not affect Quest or Boss NPCs). [I like this one already]

Thank you for allowing the community to have a say in balancing issues and progression as a whole.

Being an owner of the Warrior BP, the click does not mitigate damage or provide healing. It's an AOE that combines Taunt, Raw Hate, and a Debuff to the NPCs in its radius for a few seconds. I am still very much kill-able.
