I have a question about this item, more trying to understand the mechanics of it than anything. When I initially read the click effect Ashen Form it seemed like it would have been a buff to reduce aggro you generate for the duration of the form. However afterwards I realized that it is instead a debuff on the target with a decrease hate multiplier by 95%.

The times that i can think of this kind of debuff existing prior is something like Vallon Zek puts this kind of debuff on your tank, and it causes your tank to generate reduced threat generation until it is removed. Which is why I feel like if i debuffed a mob with this it would not do anything?

It seems more like something I should apply to my wizard so that they benefit from the reduced aggro generation. Which raises the question of why is it a debuff instead of a buff?

I could just be misinterpreting the functionality of this entirely, just trying to figure it out.
