Epic 1.5 issue I don't know how to proceed with

After I had finally had all the stone subquests finished, I went back to my bank to grab the earlier completed "Stone of the Persistent". But I cannot find it, I believe this may have been my fault with either a accidental destroy with a bag (although I thought that cant happen) or possibly my Pet inherited it. So I ran to PoValor and hunted down another 4 stones to turn in, to complete the quest.. finally. Except Fangor wont accept as that flag has passed, now he reminds me to goto Seb for final hand in.
Is there a way to have fangor reflag that part of the quest? Or turn in the stones to a GM for the "Stone of the Persistent". I would really appreciate not having to remove the quest and destroy the items, only to restart(if that is even possible). I just don't know how to deal with the quest at this time.
