Perhaps it's difficult to design custom EQ content that is both challenging and enjoyable. I think it's worse than that. Our community is twisted enough to somehow take satisfaction from enduring the tedious.

Normal people play games to escape frustration. What is wrong with us?!

Thanks TGressus - I appreciate your humor and encouragement. There's a line between those that enjoy timesinks because it's hardcore and rewarding and those that play WoW and want instant gratification. I'm not the latter. I'm a hardcore gamer (hell I box 5-6 toons), but after an incredibly bad streak of luck, frustration sets in. After a 6th visit to Fear yesterday, I got one drop, which was all the encouragement I needed. The intention of this post was in no way meant to "dumb down" content or make it "easy". If I wanted that I'd go back to EZ Server and get bored in 20 minutes. It was simply meant to get feedback and ask the Devs to look into it. I'll move on now and simply be patient.

I am in the same boat as everyone else now. A bag full of other parts, and wouldn't you know it, sparkling drops from Fear while I am at Karate. I think the hard thing is is that the re-spawn is like 4-hrs long. I think the names of the two corner mobs are very funny "Your worst nightmare". Now I know why they are called that! The 1st time I zoned into Fear 6+ months ago it was really scary, but now with all the mobs gone one has to run from corner to corner and kill them until trash re-spawns again. Were they part of Live also or something that is THF specific, if they are THF specific and custom, then I wish to command the Developers. Their name is very clever on so many levels. I just wish that the thing would drop is all.

I shudder at having to do this again on my other toons - haha.
