Headhunter

This is more of a suggestion than a bug, I'm not sure if this should go here but, anyways...

Is there any good reason for not getting all 6 zone tasks at once when you accept Headhunter? I've been stuck on Trakanon for awhile now due to the fact that he's a long respawn and he's needed for so many things (epic 1.5, loot, headhunter, and just to get past him to Elorell). I've killed nearly every boss in Chardok, but none of that counts until I just get incredibly lucky some day and pop into Seb during the 10 minute window that he's up each day.

I don't see any reason for the Chardok/Ssra kills to not count before randomly happening across Trakanon even if you can turn him into paste within seconds.

I'd say that it's because Solb/sebilis (55-70)/guk/karnor (30-55) are on a different difficulty level than chardok (70 group) or ssra (tiers1). Let's say that you can't move to the higher stages before cleaning the lower ones. This quest is meant to be done as you level, to force you explore the whole dungeons while doing xp, so it makes sense. It could also have been designed into 3 parts.
To me, this quest is the best in the game. Funny, well thought, interesting, nice reward. You are truly forced to clean the whole place and kill everything inside. Awesome :)

Trakanon is not 24 hour respawn anymore, he was switched to 6 hours IIRC. I've had to wait for him a while, but it was never that bad. Usually by the time I find the King and Echo he has popped.

It is 6 hours, hence "4 times a day."

I agree, it's a pretty cool quest. The problem is you can never completely finish the stage you're on before you progress to the next one. I'm not really sure if there's any good way around this, you just progress through the first few tiers too quickly to really clear all of karnors+lguk or all of seb+solb before you're doing Chardok and Ssra. So even if the intention is to complete it while you're at those levels, that's not going to happen for anyone. Especially for Trakanon and Nagafen, and especially since you can go 1-70 without even going to those zones since there are alternate options. For example, if someone prefers to level in City of Mist they'll have to go back and clear out karnor's and lower guk at level 70. I actually leveled through those zones and still had to go back and clear out those zones at 70 to finish the task (apologizing to newbies that were trying to level there as I went).

That's why I think you should just get all 6 at once. Especially since it requires Trakanon and Nagafen which are really more on par with Chardok/Ssra bosses.

Again, I have no complaints about the task itself. Getting all 6 tasks at once doesn't stop anyone from completing it at their own pace, but it does remove some very unnecessary frustration in trying to find Trakanon up. Otherwise every boss/named you kill in Chardok and Ssra feels like a waste.

I did eventually give in and just sit my characters in Trakanon's lair for about 3 hours until it spawned and I got it. I would have much preferred to actually be progressing through Chardok and Ssra, but I had to just sit there to guarantee that I got Trakanon so I wouldn't be wasting kills in the last 2 zones.

I also kind of think that the World Boss task should be separate as well, but I figured that opinion might be less popular. The problem with the World Boss one is that Emperor Ssra is much more difficult than the first two tiers of World Bosses. They're also borderline impossible to find up. That part I'm not complaining about, it's supposed to be a difficult task to complete with a great reward. The problem I have is that after about a week of constantly checking for World Bosses, I've found two (Stormfeather and Chancellor, just last night). They were so easy I didn't really even have to pay attention to win, yet I can't get task credit from them until I beat Emperor Ssra and finish the first Headhunter task line. Doesn't seem quite... right. I found them, I beat them, I should be getting credit for them.

I haven't moved on to the World Boss stage yet so I'm just assuming you need to kill all of them. If you only need the World Bosses that are more difficult than Emperor Ssra, then this point is moot, but I doubt that's how it works.

I see your point but don't forget that doing a quest implies that you will sometimes have to wait for something to happen : that's camping.
About the fact that you are forced to come back to a zone like solb or so when you could do chardok, well, it's xp :) I did a lot of AA there while camping mobs and was happy to do that.
To speed things up, I used to dualbox at that time so I had my necro camping one mob and my shaman with a warrior bot camping another.
About world boss. Yes they can be a pain to get, but it can also be very fast. Took me 4 days to completely do it, and I wasn't playing 24/24. Same thing, I had several toons in several places checking if it was up, then when it poped, rush there. Your problem is that you probably can't kill them alone, so your option is to ask for help, which people will gladly give you. I personally had help for them. Not because I couldn't kill them by myself but because people were already there before me or so and it was a way to help each other. Some didn't need kill credit but were camping named for ldon or rare drops *comforts Blique and offers him a ring that LOOKS like band of leopard*
People are nice here you know.
