GUI error on login

Hello all!


I just recently downloaded the UF client via the link you guys provided in getting started. After that I downloaded the THF patcher. After updating with patcher and clicking play I get an error about my gui.xml. I am unable to even get to the login screen.

Your client download might be corrupted. Could you please try one of the other links to grab the client? Use a different folder to download it to.

Hey everyone,

I am getting this error with my previous THF rof2 instance and downloaded a fresh copy from here and I still get this error. Any ideas?

Heya, what program were you using unzipping the client? I've heard of issues with different compression tools. For some reason the client files also can get corrupted when downloading or being unzipped time to time.

I'd also recommend to try and re-download the client, a fresh copy and install location, try to run it without the patcher and see if it works properly (just have to create a shortcut to start the game like on any other EQEMU server, disabling the official patcher). If it works, then you can proceed with the patcher download and update the client.
