Eqemu is a bit confusing.. their LS account is basically a forum account, and withing a forum account, you can register 3 login account to be able to play. To connect to an ls, you only need a login name and pw.

On THF, you don't have to register a forum account to be able to create a login account.

so with #setlsinfo you basically create a login account name (based on your emu login name) and a password to be able to log in to the THF ls.

OK i screwed up.

I changed my account to the Private like you said Lillu and was in private server but only the two accounts i had logged on at the time i changed well now i cant log on to tho other accounts says User Pw not valid and to run update.
I took the eqhost back that i made and re put it in the dir to change it back to the original and now i cant log into any account
plz help

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you did. can you explain step by step what you did?

Setting pw for private ls (using #setlsinfo whine you are ingame) has nothing to do with your eqemu un/pw. Those should work as before if you try to log on vie eqemu LS.

Ok the other day when you had me go to test server i did the private login set in game with the 2 toons i had logged Bosconan and Watchtower. I was able to log in just fine but when i went to log in my other toons Isobel Greenarrow said password user name was not correct.
So i replaced the backup EQhost.txt with the new one that i made copy with. and now i cant log in to any toon

Yes all my toons on different LS accounts, I did Bosco and watchtower accounts and when i went to log in the server i wasnt able to log the others in after switching to the private server to do the #setlsinfo EMAIL password for my other toons

umm, I'm totally confused now..

First of all, please read the Player guide..

For now, change your eqhost.txt to join to eqemu, aka

Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998

Then use your EQEMU username and password. Thats it..

If you want to log on via THF login server (as it's set in your eqhost.txt atm), you need to set a NEW password for EVERY account you want to log on via the private ls. Basically you have to log on all your accounts via eqemu LS first, connect to THF and use the #setlsinfo to set a password for every account you want to use over THF ls. It's all explained and written in the Player Guide.

i just did a complete reinstall to fix the problem

did you patch your client by accident?

if you follow the player guide, it will work perfectly. I switch between eqemu and THF LS daily and I use Titanium and SoD client too.

I never patched it. I not sure what the deal is i followed the guide step by step and worked for two toons but my others cant get in so i removed the eqhost.txt and replaced it with the original and well now cant get but a reinstall fixed it i just have to start over lol and load all files
