when i press connect the screen just goes blank and nothing happens

are you trying it with a clean SoD install? I mean no custom ui, or THF related ini files? because if you don't, this might be the issue. if you don't, well then honestly no idea, it works for everyone else. I'm saying this based on what you've said so far (client not patched, not a resolution issue, all fine with other servers, etc).

I meet the same issue with today's installation of SoD (white screen "does not respond")
I am able to connect to all preferred servers but no THF.

I installed all THF customs files prior to log on. No resolution issue as I change the windowedmode=TRUE in eqclient.ini.

Any ideas? are others servers up to date with the steam SOD download/launcher than THF?

In the meantime, I will have to search for my titanium discs.

Edit: did not read that only private ls supports SOD...

SoD support is not ls related.

The game server supports SoD, just not the latest (patched) steam version of the client. If you log on to our test server, it has our latest THF code and already supports the latest client. So yeah, soon.

I am currently experiencing the issue described in this thread. I have recently downloaded the SoD client from Steam, but it includes Underfoot files and doesn't connect to the THF Server. I was able to connect to the test server so I wanted to ask if there is a rough ETA on this fix being pushed Live so that we can use the SoD client? I currently use the SoF client but I feel the SoD client is a lot more reliable when boxing so would like to begin using the client as soon as the server is ready.
