Can't See Enrage

Hmm that’s interesting. Is there anyone at all with enrage message showing up? Maybe the msg is shown for GMs and not for players then and then it’s indeed server side issue. Well not an issue but a feature we can fix.

I think it shows for Rigz.

What I was trying to say is, it used to show for me before (years ago). I would have been using a client from an external source. I believe I was using the same custom UI as I'm using now.

I came back this year, downloaded a clean UF client from THF and only since then has enrage been missing. I didn't notice it for a while because we were leveling up through the content from level 1.

I noticed it a month or so ago but assumed I'd somehow turned a filter off. But there's no reason that I'd have done that.

I will check my settings but I suspect it's the THF UF client that is causing it somehow. I don't think Rigz is using it.

I checked, it's definitely selected for my chat window. I wouldn't know how to turn it off except there (never felt the need to filter it out anyway, it's too useful).

Unless it's something to do with MQ2 (again, no idea what, don't have any filter plugin active).

I do not recall seeing enrage message on mobs since using underfoot. That was with and with out mq2.

Param1: Enrage duration in ms (default: 10000)
Param2: Enrage cooldown in ms (default: 360000)

Is the code for it to see if it mimics this or not. I wanna say i do recall seeing it on titanium client when it did work here is the client i used for my first few months.

Well now that i think about it the enrage is cutting on so code is correct. So something to do with the client coding of displaying mob has been enraged.

The client i believe should be using eqstr_us.txt for the string. Everything in that file is correct from the download here. Im still not sure where where this is handled to display the text that the mob is enraged. I have tried with and with out mq2 also.

I just dont know where this is handled on the client side. lol

Was just thinking about the other special attacks: Summon, flurry, and rampage. I know summon shows text but i cant remember if any of the others do. The text shows when one of my characters flurry. But if the client is showing any of these special attacks why wouldnt it show the enrage.

I havent changed anything on my side, but since the Halloween patch Enrage started showing up. So I am guessing Lillu took care of it for us? Or maybe just a magic otter to the rescue.
