Is this still the case with the downloads ? Me , my wife, and my brother started playing last night and The Hidden Forest zone was bringing my computers to their knees. Once we moved to Crushbone, it was playable not what I would call flawless. But my machine can play The Division on High settings with no problem, so I've come with questions.

1) Are the missing files still a thing ? Were all running UF client from 1st download. Will 3rd download fix the missing files if it is a thing ? I have a titaniam edition, do I need to install that someplace to get the files needed to fix or would a SOD client fix whole thing ?

2) If it's not the missing files, when your at entering user name / password and you go to options there to turn on velious models there's settings. Sound, Social animation, Mip mapping, dynamic lighting, texture caching, and texture compression. Do any of those have a profound impact on performance ? Once you get in client there's settings as well, but I know that all those boxes have been checked on each one because I assumed EQ would be easy to run.

Any other suggestions ? I'm the Tech guy for our band so I get to fix all the clients :? Thanks again in advance, we had a blast last night and loved the server specific quests.

One more thought, If I did the play for free off of daybreak and downloaded that client would I get the missing files I needed that way ?

We'll have a reboot soon. Let me know if that helped the lag.

I followed the UF Missing files post. Downloaded the FP EQ client, and all the files are there and the same size. I didn't overwrite the UF ones yet since I wanted opinions whether that would help or not. If the consensus is overwrite them I'm willing to give it a try for sure.

Also I did try adding the multi core support to eqclient.ini file, didn't make any difference.

I don't know if reset was done, but seems to be working great now. I don't think I changed anything, but thanks for help.

Must be the reboot then. We were up without reboot for 14 days. Guess I'll do it more often!
