Can't See Enrage

I cannot figure out why but I cannot see when the mob enrages, the message is not going to any of my chat windows i only notice when i start to lose hp extremely fast. Any clue?

Hmm, I do see the Enrage message so maybe it's filtered out in your Options/Filter tab (Others' Hits option)?

If you are using MQ there is an additional place to look for filters.

I am not using anything like that. I may have copied my eqclient file over from a different server in the attempt to maintain my settings, perhaps i blocked it on there because i was a caster?

Not sure if that will work, but i am planning on deleting the eqclient.ini file and just reset everything.

instead of deleting you can rename it to add .old or something on the end, then it's there if you want to go back to it.
Something in my mind says its a broadcast filter, but ive no idea where that came from or why.

When i was having issues getting a new eqclient ini file was definitely an improvement on my performance though, so can't hurt to try.

I tried with a clean EQclient.ini file and that didn't fix the problem, not sure if a fresh install would be required, which obviously i dont particularly want to try.

Perhaps I could try to do a separate install and see if I copied something from a previous installation that screwed it up.

So this is a server side issue i am sure. I have tried 2 different clients that i know for a fact show enrage notification text.

Sorry, I might be misunderstanding your post. What is sever side issue and why did you link this github enrage search? The Enrage message does show up properly for me on a non-custom UI (UF client).

That's odd. I took my original UF client that wasn't from thf and tried to get enrage to show but it wouldn't. All filters on. I also spent a few days going throw and looking at all the files and trying to find where the issue would be. Only thing I could find that would cause us not to see enrage was the server files. But if your able to see it, that would mean there is another file or setting I am missing. I will continue to look into this on the client side.

Enrage hasn't shown for me since coming back to play. Downloaded the UF version from here and installed the custom UI (also from here).

So not sure what's causing it but it's likely something between those two. I've just not tried working it out yet.
