'Who is Online?'

This is what I see when I pull up the 'Who is Online?' feature of the website:

Image

I love the look of the page, but the listing of the results is why I'm posting. Is there any way to be possible to 'click' on Name, Level, Class, or Zone to filter the information? Not sure of the order they are displayed, seems kind of random. And maybe add a column for Guild. Just a thought...

Also, and if I'm off base on this let me know, but would it be possible to filer your information that is given out on Magelo. I mean, right now, anyone can look into anyone else's bank, personal bags, or check up on AA's of anyone. I know this is a great feature, but I kind of would like the option of checking a box somewhere for (All) to view, (Guild), (Friends), or (None) to see what skills I do or don't have...

Currently, it's not selectable on a per user basis. So i disabeled the money feature on all profiles. Could do the same for bank/bags etc but then again there are some people who'd like to check from work whether they already got part X for quest Y.

About the sorting feature - i believe Topsy is already checking out how to do this (it's his beautiful design, as most web based features on the clone page).

I figured out how to sort an array of arrays yesterday. blah, headache. I'm trying to figure out how to implement it so that you can sort by , class / name / zone / level. As far as guilds go, the script is basically doing a /who. But, its not returning the guild name. So in order to get guilds up there i have to do a big nasty join to get the guilds... I can get the guild, the problem i'm having now is adding that to the existing array of arrays. I'm sure in the near future i'll be able to get at least the sorting done if not the guilds.

For the record, my coding when i started was 5 years rusty. At this point, i'd say i'm caught up to where i was and have improved 5x of what i used to do. I had heard of style sheets then, and arrays of arrays but never really implemented anything more than a fancy table. ( by table i mean border='1') so blocky looking. Its been a great opportunity to get to work here as i'm really starting to get into a grove on what i can do.

Oh ya,

Thanks a ton for the feedback Aarcore. I need more constructive feed back like that. I'm trying as well as the rest of the dev team to make this site / server stand out above the rest and its the community that is gonna help us with their ideas & input thats gonna get us to that spot.

Keep posting ideas, it doesn't just have to be on my fancy custom stuff. See a problem with any other features let me know here so they can be addressed.

can you add some funky 80s break dancing music and show a orc just wigging out doing a spin on his head and the robot and such?

lol i wouldn't even know where to begin there. I'll never be a graphic designer. I make things work, not make things pretty

I know that we face no issue with raid mob "racing" (who said ST key dragons? :p) but where is the point of using roleplay/anonymous in game if we can have zones displayed in the "Who is online" forum link?

Roleplay makes your name pink, I guess thats a strong reason to use it for a few individuals :p
