it would be better if HT would be doing relatively small dmg - like a decent nuke, but be reusable every 5 min or so ;)

Doable tho'.. HT and LOH are spells. Should be in spell DB.

This isn't a discussion about HT at all, it's about testing the code that makes it work, take it to the spell section if there are issues with the actual ability balance please =)

Testing 2 more things with this:

Does HT actually reset when timer is up
Yes

Does #ability HT use the upgraded AA HT
no, this is the only real problem I can find, maybe a second command with #ability HT2?


LoH works fine without a target, it just won't work with an invalid target
LoH uses AA improvements, since it's an improvement on the ability instead of a new ability all together

Thanks for info. To clarify: HT works after original source I got (may have some customization I do not know of), and works like following: < level 40 it is called simple HT (let's call it HT1, whatever), but after level 40 it fires HT2. Both command and button must do this - no other way, since they are both bound to same method. After spell fired successfully the recast time is being set (just like by LOH. same timer) and modified by an AA (do not remember the names), what will change the recast time by substracting 10,20,30% of them.

Will check the code - may be the AA names are mixed or the value substracted from recast time is wrong.

Problem (maybe) is that the AA HT is a new ability with a new hotkey that is used instead of HT, but shares the same timer. It's not a modifier or a tied in upgrade, but a completely new HT. Basically I'm wondering if we need a second # command for the AA HT if the AA hotkey doesn't work on SoD

Wish I could test it, but I don't have SoD =/



HT ability list:

HT = Level 1-40 (level*10+1 iirc)

HT2 = Level 40-70 (upgraded damage/level formula)

Improved Harm Touch = This ability gives you a low-resist Harm Touch. Using this ability also uses your existing Harm Touch timer (New AA hotkey ability, greatly increased damage, reduced resist mod, 20 minute cooldown, level 59 req)

Unholy Touch = Passive AA ability that increases the damage of Improved Harm Touch at levels 61, 63 and 65

Touch of the Wicked = Passive HT ability reducing the HT timer (effecting normal HT button and AA HT button) by 12 min/rank at levels 61/63/65 (20%)
