Problems logging and models

I have two problems trying to get everquest to run on second computer. One is, even though i have selected for the new models, they STILL dont appear. My second issue is, soon after login, in game, EQ crashes. Any help with both these problems would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Sounds like some files that need to be overwritten by the EQ configuration utility aren't.

Are you on Windows Vista or Windows 7, by any chance? I think I smell a problem with the Virtual Store here.

thanks for the reply mal, its windows xp, i will try the manual install of the extra files instead of the installer
