2 more times in VT. Seems that others stayed connected fine but VT is unplayable for me right now.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it seems like it's not a server side issue then. Maybe some network/routing issue in certain areas.

There have been quite a few oddities in the past few days that I don't think can be attributed to "network/routing". I have been experiencing desyncs, in HoH, Nadox, Tactics and even in the guild hall.

I'm sure I don't quite understand how it all works, but if I am playing with people from different parts of the country & all over the world, I would not tend to believe that it is a local network/routing issue when we are all experiencing similar problems. When we connect using THF logon server, are we all not connecting to the same server or linked servers?

I am getting the EQ "check connection" message as well, quite frequently the last few days. It was unplayable yesterday afternoon and most recently happened a few minutes ago while my toons were standing around in the Vale. This problem seemed to start showing up sometime after the last patcher update. 8/14 - ish

I know lag is an issue in many zones, but all the desyncing and connection errors are a new phenomena for me. I hope it can be remedied soon.

Having problems tonight. Takes multiple times to login and get past character select. And there are long lag spikes while I am killing. I'm in Dreadspire atm.

I've had issues with disconnects the last few days as well. Yesterday I disconnected. 4 of 6 toons in Plane of Storms and I gave up trying to get them back in after a few tries. I had 5 of 6 disconnect in the forest today. I got them back in after a few login attempts.

Logged in x6 on first attempt in Guild Hall. Killed in SRT with normal latency/no issues. Been on a little over an hour, currently in Forest and everything is still running just fine.

If people don't mind sharing: where do you live (country/state and closest metro area). I think that this has something to do either with ISPs or routing.

It might be a silly question, but when folks are experiencing these issues do you check anything else? Open a browser and try to connect somewhere, run a speed test, maybe a commandline ping or tracert?

Funny you should mention this, because one of the very first things I have do when I have experienced some of these "network/router/internet" issues is to open a browser and see what the response times are....Every time I do, there have been no connectivity issues anywhere else. I have also ran speed tests on my internet connectivity and consistently get 57+ mbps.

Make sure you check your connectivity vs. a European server. Routing issues are 99% not between you and your nearest server you are checking ping/download speed with on http://www.speedtest.net. 57+ mbps download speed sounds like you were testing a near server to your location.

Other than this, we are checking for possible issues but it's really hard to spot a problem when some reports it while others have no problem at all. The issue also seems temporary which makes it even more difficult to isolate.

We are working on figuring out what may be causing some of the desync issues. Please continue to be a thorough as possible when detailing when/how you are desyncing. Every little detail will help narrow down the issue
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...

26mbps & 8mbps from Budapest. Cologne/Koln 18mbps & 10mbps up. Dusseldorf, 55mbps & 10mbps up. (Move the servers here, :D ) Anywhere else closer to where THF is hosted I should check?

I understand that intermittent problems can be difficult and/or impossible to track down. It is odd however that they seem to coincide, for me at least, with updates or new zone releases.
