Bot: Heals, buffs, mana usage

Apologies for combo report here..

Location: Any zone
Grouped: Yes and No
Bot type: Shaman
Bot level: 70

Observations:
[*]Bots now buff very fast compared to pre patch (yay for that).
[*]Bots now rebuff frequently, perhaps on ever zone ? (not positive here, don't have a lot of time to dig deeper)
[*]Bots blow through mana at a very acellerated rate compared to before
[*]Bots do not heal until someone, or your pet, gets well below 50% health. May even be below 40% health
[*]Bots appear to be casting the same spell repeatedly on a target during a fight. I only need the target slowed once.....as an example.

Will be away for a few days, won't be able to help test any fixes or changes here if they are determined to be needed.

parting comment, Bots are a lot less useful at the moment :)

Bumping this for posterity....

Helping newbs on the server out occasionally and keep getting hit with "why is my bot always out of mana?"

Kind of kills their early experience on the server.

Not sure where this would fall in a queue of open issues, just thought i would give some additional feedback.

Thanks for reporting it but we'll need a lot more specific bug report to fix something if there's anything to fix at all here. :)

Exact issue, how to reproduce it, etc. Thank you!

Well this is especially challenging to report on as I have no idea how the Dev team intends bots to perform.

They do their jobs as before the recent major update, they just eat mana like mad.

I am not a test oriented person. I can try specific things if asked but beyond just using a bot and reporting that the healer/caster types are near useless due to mana always being empty I don't know what else to report.

How can I help you help the server bot experience?

Note: I don't use the server bots myself anymore.

Have Underfoot client. Created a new toon and have a druid bot. Only level 28ish but fighting 2 crushbone champions will have the druid bot burning all the mana healing my beastlord. May not be the best example but I see zero buffs when the druid bot is targeted, even when I cast a buff on said bot. I can see the buffs on pet and myself just not the bot.

OK bug report for BOT Spells;

Only been on the server a few days and have died ALOT regardless of the type of healer type I get mainly due to them running out of mana.

Underfoot Client

Character level 40 Ranger
Bots: Shaman/Cleric/Druid/Ranger

Issues

[1] Bots buff everything, My shaman/druid/ranger all buffed my spider familiar pet.
[2] Bots spam the target with damage spells even when their main role should be support Cleric/Shaman
[3] Bots don't meditate when they are low on mana in a support role, they are always standing.
[4] There is no #bot stance command to lower their aggressiveness
http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=35079
[5] Their mana recovery rate is really slow, I can get mana back ALOT faster then they can it seems, I have to spend my buffs time up waiting for the healer to get into a position they will heal me.

[Sidenote] #bot archery (yea i know it's not a spell) Bots stand close to the target, If I can't shoot point blank at level 40 then they shouldn't.

These are a few I've noticed so far, will try id some more.
