I have by no means mastered the internets, but since I troubleshoot networking issues all day for people I don't really like I will gladly try and help a fellow EQ player. In my experience the "network address Is invalid" error codes are often produced because of misconfigured system files inside the windows operating system. I would love to know if you could ping login.eqemulator.net (66.55.142.2) but it looks like external ping is disabled.
My first instinct here is always malware. I would run three free tools before proceeding with troubleshooting, HitmanPro, ADWcleaner and finally Windows repair tool (In that order). Make sure to right-click and run as administrator.
HitmanPro:

http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/getmirror/ ... air,1.htmlIf you are lucky your computer was infected and removing the malicious programs/processes/services and then running windows repair fixed everything and you are good to go. If not, troubleshooting gets much more interesting!
If you have tried using these utilities and still get the same error we can move forward with troubleshooting. I will probably ask you 100 questions about your local network but I am confident that we can fix this issue, let me know how it goes!
