This one is going to be awkward to explain...
One of the ways that I try to speed up progress when doing things that are inventory intensive is to temporarily drag a bag (container) to the hotbar as a hotbutton. Worked fine last year for the scavanger hunt and pristine quest. But now, not so much. After some testing, this is what I found is happening...
When there is more than container of a specific type...let's say my toon has 3 Tae Ew pouches...if I drag all three to a hotbar and click on those shortcuts one by one, only the FIRST container of that type will get opened. Doesn't matter which of the "hot bags" that I click on, only the FIRST one in main inventory will open. I will make a number map here of main inventory here...

The above is how I number my toon's containers in my head. Now look at the screenshot of my toon Shadome's main inventory. Note that he has two Blue Adventurer's Pouches. If I drag both of them to a hotbar and then click on those shortcuts, both buttons will open the pouch in slot 1. When I drag the containers in slots 2-7 into a hotbar, they work fine...I can open them from the hotbar. But when I drag the two Tae Ew Hide Sacks to a hotbar, clicking on either of those two "hot bags" only opens the one in slot 8. The result is that if I drag all ten containers to a hotbar, and if I only want to use these shortcuts, I will not be able to access the containers in slot 9 and 10...because there is more than one of each of those and EQ will only open the first instance of them. And just to clarify more, none of this affects clicking on the containers directly. And, it's not my MQ2. I ran Shadome from the THF launcher without any third party programs.
I also tested this on a toon that has seven Tae Ew pouches...I dragged all seven to a hotbar and tried to open all seven from there. But all I got was the very first bag opening and closing. None of the other six were accessible from the hotbar.
