Terrible lag in some zones

Most of the zones I am ok in, but when I go to Plane of Storms or Plane of Valor, its unusable.

If I stare at the ground, I can at least move, but the mouse and keyboard response rates are horrid, impossible to use these 2 zones.

I am using an AMD Radeon RX7600, which I can only assume is ample power to run. It feels like this used to be pretty quick, so unsure what is different in my setup?

This is certainly not my "thing", maybe I need to download the zone files again? Didnt think of that until now...

Any other ideas?

I re-ran the patcher, it downloaded a couple files, but get the same result.

Hopefully there is a setting or something I am missing. Or someway to set my graphics card to do something different during this game?

Ran toons through both zones-141 ping no lag. I have all particle effects etc. OFF for all toons.

Getting the same thing now in Plane of Air.

I could get around the other 2 as the drops I need were in Fungus Grove also.

But kinda need POA.

Maybe some old DirectX something that I need for the Planes expansion? Feels really hard to nail down.

I think I will try renaming those zones and let the patcher reinstall them.

Well that didnt work, guess the patcher doesnt load zones, it just wont let me port there now...

Are you running the game through the patcher?

The patcher will only update the custom files. Original zone files need to be replaced from the client install package.

I will redownload the original install into a new directory, login to that and head to the zones and see what I get.

Maybe my install is just corrupt.

Ok, i went up and got the .zip file again, loaded into a new directory, ran the HF Launcher. When I hit play I get this error.

When I build a shortcut to EQGame and add patchme to the end and run it, I can login fine, and pick Hidden Forest server, but when I get to char screen, there are no characters there.
