Warriors, Paladins, and Shadowknights should all have their own "reason we should pick this class for our raid because _____." I believe these reasons should be Warriors for survivability(making them great for raids and good for groups/solo), Paladins for heals and some utility(making them great for groups and good for raids/solo), Shadowknights for dps and some utility(making them great for solo and good for raids/groups).
Being a Shadowknight that's my primary experience so maybe some pal/war can step in for feedback on what they would like to see. Below are my thoughts.
Shadowknight-
Disciplines in the order I'd like to see:
HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR-
-DPS/Tanking- Make Unholy Aura work! Currently does not increase damage of Grasp of Death or Touch of the Devourer and is a spell not a disc so the 63 min recast on it as a spell makes it unusable vs it being a discipline.
-Tanking- Deflection weaponshield style disc for tank swaps(18s)
AAs in the order I'd like to see:
HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR-
-DPS- Knight 2h extra attacks(passive increased triple attack chance and flurry chance)
-Utility- Hate Step(activated directional shadowstep)
-Utility- Death's Effigy(activated instant FD with fade effect on a 2 minute reuse timer)
-Utility- Hate's Attraction(activated summon targeted mob to you and add significant starter hate)
-Tanking- Mortal Coil(passive chance to proc leechcurse style short duration buff upon mob killshot)
-DPS- Extra attack on a short timer with a base damage that scales with your weapon(activated min damage 500%+ 1 hit)
WOULD BE NICE-
-DPS- Harmtouch improvements(More damage and reduced timer)
-DPS- Chattering Bones(activated swarm pets)
-Utility- Spell immunity for self and/or group(activated ala "Block next spell" x10 for example)
-Utility- No fail taunt that locks aggro for a short duration(activated 12-18s aggro lock)
-Utility- Placable decoy that generates aggro on anything in range and/or transfers it to owner
Spells in the order I'd like to see:
HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR-
-Utility- Large lifetap with heavy mana requirement, not to replace existing lifetap(inefficient big tap vs efficient smaller existing tap)
-Utility- Theft of Pain upgrade(Add an AC debuff for mob to it, boost the dd, give AC to the group. This has been asked for on Live for 5+ years and I'd love to see it actually happen here)
-Utility- Theft of Hate upgrade(Add an ATK debuff for the mob to it, boost the damage, give synergy to melees in group in the form of a damage mod or extra attack chance or something in addition to +ATK. This has been asked for on Live for 5+ years and I'd love to see it actually happen here)
-DPS/Tanking- Instant cast spells(Terror line, Spear line, DoT lines)
WOULD BE NICE-
-DPS- Nice DPS castable swarm pets
-DPS- Make SK pets stronger
-DPS- Much upgraded DoTs
-DPS/Tanking- Defensive proc runes or lifetaps(5+ min duration)
