Pet Parses with Arena Dummies

Thanks Nilbus. Below are my results, I tested the donor pet with clickies a couple times and had above 27K dps each time, I'm not sure why I'm 5k higher than yours with a lower focus. I will do some 5min tests late next week to double check.

Ancient minion focus
T8 dummy, 3min

Donor Pet:
Sune = 9158.1 (10%~ lower)
Sune + Donor v1 click + VP click = 27624.1 (22%~ higher)

T8 Pet, Void of Death 1, Monk:
Sune = 5079.3
Sune + Donor v1 click + VP click = 15802.2

Only thing I can think of is in those tests it took "agro" from the dummy so wasn't facing back. If I get time this weekend I'll do some with my sk holding agro.

As soon as you start the parse on the dummies, they stun themselves. You can move/reposition the pet to be on the back side without fear of the dummy turning on your pet.

I suppose now is as good a time as any to bring this up... but pet special attacks can't hit bane mobs. it's no big deal considering the special attacks are a small blip of pet dps, I suspect, but of you're trying to flip a dummy so that your rogue pet can backstab (and you're in tier 8) then don't bother since that pet can't backstab bosses there anyway. and per another discussion, I think we concluded that dummies cannot dodge/parry/riposte while stunned or am I mistaken? Anyway, AFAIK there's little to no need to get your pet on the backside of the dummy

Dummies will still dodge, riposte and parry while stunned. They just will not move or attack back.

That's what I thought, but when doing those parses in the GH, in the tests when the pet had donor buffs it actually started off targetting and facing my necro but shortly into the fight turned around to the pet. I tried repositioning the pet but it turned again. Not sure why it did that though.
