Hey one thing I did notice which may or may not help... is that a lot of my zoning crashes occur only on characters that have clicky buffs from items. My shaman constantly crashes and I believe is has something to do with MQ2 trying to switch out an item and click it before he enters the zone fully. It happens with other characters also and its seems like it happens when they try to rebuff upon zone in. This is probably a MQ2 issue at the core due to it causing the actions to happen, but also it maybe has something to do with possible desync or lag while zoning? Also it seems that once a character experiences a crash like this it will be more likely to happen to that character again during that session until a full restart of the client. Most of the time on my shaman it freezes the whole client if I try to log back in after the disconnect, but most the other characters will log back in fine from character select. Not sure if this is relevant but just trying to offer aspects of what I have notice during crashes. Other then zoning and clicky buffing my crashes are very very few but I only run 12. Thank you for putting in so much effort to make the server better !

Muergan, i confirm this, you need to add a timer after zoning, with 5s timer it will be solved

You can see my zoneout to guildhall capture : https://i.imgur.com/p4G3mcl.png

Same bug since Dusta,
I give you another example, I had in the list of hate a hoh mini boss who was engaged by another person. both groups were each opposite of the area. :Fun:

Hey Moguay can you give me a hint as to where you put the 5s idle? Its been a long time since i tried to code a macro :) I'm guessing the main loop somewhere but also what trigger do you have it looking for?

Okay, I went through and added a couple safeguards in the code to try and prevent this. No guarantees since it's hard to test on an internal server where you connect almost instantly. But the code shouldn't allow you to swap items, cast spells, or go through a buff routine until you are fully connected now.
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...

Well, i did more digging and found the issue. Or atleast i am able to reproduce the issue. It seems when booting up new instances, the first toon that tries to zone in when the boot up is happening will get stuck in limbo. Others will be able to enter but the first one is the issue.

Working the issue :)

Vaion for crash on login is probably this.

Take the time also on casting bar, Probably that this bad information generates as much problem server side as client side.
you say : o Lots of work done on fixing the spell casting bar issues. It is still a work in progress, but all player casted (Not item casted) spells should now display a cast bar with the correct casting time.

Wait- are you guys still having issues the spell casting bar? That should be fixed and live already.

Fixes that I have made but are not live:
- Fixed aggro issues not clearing after deaths
- Fixed when mobs would sometimes aggro at 4-5x their normal range
- Fixed some issues where spell casting, buff routines, and item swaps could happen before a character fully zoned.
- Sped up the zone boot up of instances zones

Things I am working on:
- Crash dealing with players zoning before a zone is ready to accept them.

This is a thing? That explains it, was happening to me in Stillmoon. I would be picking off mob by mob then somehow train myself and curse that i was too slow reacting to Fairy out. I figured i had agrod the statues in the middle and the mobs were assisting those, but i couldnt figure out why it was always my shaman or my rogue that was getting agrod, when its only my SK that leaves zone in.
