Follow up with data for Lion Maw and Epic Power procs

Lion maw is getting the boost from chromatic arc. It is not getting the boost from Bard Songs.

Epic Power is not getting the boost from Dark Fire, it is getting the boost from chromatic arc though. It is not getting the boost from bard songs.

There were several issues addressed lately, is there a decent DPS increase overall?

Was just following up to my last post with Lion Maw and Epic Power proc info. These issues are still preset.

Stickybuds wrote:Just wanted to make sure these issues have not been forgotten and are on the list.

Aura of the Mighty not procing Tap of the Mighty One (9090)

Procs that fire from buffs are not getting focus effects, such as...
Strike of Vengeance (9754)
Spirit of Irionu Strike (6101)
Mana Inferno strike (9262)
Bloodmage Strike (9097)

Both mana Inferno strike (9262) and Bloodmage Strke (9097) are getting boost by bard songs, but the others are not.

I dont have any data on Spirit of the Lion proc Lion Maw III (9210) or shm epic 2.0 proc Epic Power (8457) but I'm guessing they suffer the same fate.

For me personally, no. My grp only has 2 dps Mary and Loki my wizard. Wizard dps didnt seem to change much with the code update, but Mary took a nose dive. I think however if the above issues can be fixed my bard's dps should jump back up. Bard white dmg isnt that great so i rely on procs for majority of her dps. Two of my best procs are being effected by this, Aura of the Mighty's proc isnt working at all, and Strike of Vengeance isnt getting focused/bard song boost is a big hurt.

My only saving grace has been Mary has the bard donor BP, but even it has suffered loss. Before the code update using it on conjunction with shm & bard epic 2.0 would result in pretty much every attack being a cirt and therefore a crippling blow, my melee box would just be filled with nothing but crippling blow messages while it was active. Now there are lots of gaps of normal non-crit hits between the crippling blows when I use it. I was really hoping the fixes to worn crit mods would help fix it but it didnt seem to make much effect, although that change did help overall crit % in general.

Found and fixed the issue where procs are not getting focus bonuses. Will go live with next code reboot. #dpsisback!

Guys thank you for all the work you have put in to fixing dps. Although spell damage from procs is better than it was, the dps issues seem to still be very much present :(

Aye it's just one step closer to fixing everything back like it should be. The proc focuses was a pretty major fix in relation to overall melee dps :)

If anyone else has confirmed issues that are still unfixed please post them. I've taken the time to set up a method to compare the old code vs the new one quickly so it's a lot easier to find where things are breaking but hints and pointers in the right direction helps :)

Does seem to be getting back to whee it was...nice to see more procs again.

I didn't keep old parses so its difficult to impossible for me to do a scientific job of comparing old code with new.

I've no idea how hard it would be to implement an old code test server, maybe just a test zone, like an open guild hall where parses could be compared on the dps dummies with old and new code. This would permit a side by side comparison and provide you with exact numerical differences. It would potentially be a handy tool to have around when implementing new clients as well.
