[FIXED] Giving bots attunable items

Has there been an update to attunable items in which by giving them to a bot now makes them no trade?

A few weeks ago I have gave my Pegasus nostril webtools/items.php?id=17599 to a bot to hold because I was solo and looting another. Today I tried to trade it to an alt and noticed that is now marked as a no trade item. I know I never attuned it to any player character so it had to have been changed when I gave it to my bot. I never saw any "Are you sure" type warning like you would normally get when attuning an item.

I have moved things to & from bots before without this issue.

I just tested giving a Broken Bone Loop to my bot and it was still tradeable after I Removed it. After you looted the second one, did you attune that one?

Aye Warlgor, I never had a problem before either. No, I never attuned it...I have only clicked it from inventory to use the illusion. I have traded it to and back from my bard alt so we could use the illusion, but I never attuned it.

I have much better stat items, so there would be no reason to attune.

I miss the days when bots were account-wide :P You could put a no-drop item on the bot, switch toons, and withdraw it :P Also worked for the de-level potion thing. Delevel yourself, give the re-level item to the bot, switch toons, take tonic off bot, and turn it in for a free level 70 toon :P I never did this, of course :o (I sadly told Lillu about it :P)

But back on topic, bots used to not "attune" items (as in a couple months ago-ish) but after hearing someone mention it in /ooc, I dropped an un-attuned item from SH on my trusty bot and she attuned it. I think it was that same item you used, Warlgor.

Can't remember specifically during what expansion it was on Live but I know it was around SoF, that they changed it that if you clicked the attuneable item from an inventory slot that it made it no longer tradeable.

So I don't know if this is client related or server.

Patience is a virtue. Please keep in mind that the devs have lives outside of the game as well and don't always have time to fix and/or respond to every thread.

I added this to my to do and will look into it as soon as I can.

Found the problem. If a bot is camped while holding an attuneable item, then that item will become no drop.

We will look into fixing this asap.

Fixed in the next code update.
