Lord Draekon Agro

Lord Draekon agro seems to have changed. He sometimes completely ignores the tank (Rafe, sk) no matter what spell is cast on him and no matter where tank stands and then kills whole raid. Today it was ridiculous. Melee also seemed to go to front of him rather than behind him as they should....

At any rate it is currently unplayable for a sk tank. Had mages , necros, clerics, druids, rogues all getting agro and not turning loose till dead.

I've been doing this event for about 3 months now. It is wrong now.

Something like this occured months ago when the aggro cap was surpassed and it bugged out the tank or something or another but was since fixed (and also primarily due to the Pally Donor BP).
See if it happens again on your next attempt?

May have been that one instance. I killed him yesterday with no problems and the script worked as expected.

Happened 4 times to me in a day...i may be over cap have lots of donor gear including BP

Just had a similar thing happen to me on Chaos. Not sure what caused it, don't think I really had that much aggro going on, haha (but not too little, either). But he ignored my tank and killed the rest of the raid, which is definitely not normal. Don't think I was doing anything differently than normal, either

happened to me again today as well. Seems like he works through everyone else in raid till he gets back to you...killing them all and completely ignoring your taunts, agro spells and anything else you can do...click donor legs for example.

Out of curiosity...

If you, hypothetically, break the aggro cap and then Feign Death to place yourself at the bottom of the aggro list, could you then stand up and taunt yourself back to the top?

I would assume 'no', because FD and Taunt are similar hate list mechanic to the point that where if one would fault then other would also fault. But hey, it's worth a shot until V can figure something out.

I don't know if this is related but we've noticed similar symptoms but its not necessarily a named encounter. We don't have any donator bp but we have the crest and donator weapons.

Occasionally, another character gains agro (often one that never has any fear of gaining agro normally) and the mob stays locked on them until it dies. When it's a trash mob it's no big deal but we took to not killing it to test what happens. When it occurs, the tank can be the only attacking character, spam taunt, hate spells and procs, yet the mob chooses to attack the came character even when not doing anything to gain hate.

Is this the agro cap being broken? If it is, is it an eqemu bug or THF and is it fixable?

I have a donor weapon on my tank but no other donor items that would add to aggro. Did Chaos this morning with no problems... only difference was I did not use:

click today, which does add aggro %. So maybe it was aggro cap being broken, but isn't that pretty high (not sure just spamming Fevarn shield + stuns would ever get me there, unless the modifer in that clicky is making things out of wack for me, and donor items others have are doing the same for them?)

I've witnessed this happen to Knight classes, but never once happening to a warrior. My warrior uses that same click, Nilbus, so I don't think that is the entire issue. Very interesting though. Has everyone that experienced this used a Knight class for a tank?
