Zone Crashing/Connection issues after todays patch?

Logged in today and it seems that everytime I zone I am dropped back to login as well as half the time I simply try and log in I am dropped back to login. Make it to character selection etc fine its just when I try to load into the actual world.

Anyone else having any issues with this? Nothing with my client has changed and its happening across different PCs as well.

Strange, there were no zone crash at all since the reboot. Actually not even before that for 1+ day.

Its not actually a zone crashing issue (doesn't seem) just seems more like during the zoning process the server just stops sending data back/forth and drops me. Having the same issue with simply logging into the server now haven't been able to get all the way back in. Ill try the private login rq and see if anything changes.

Tried again both logins are the same issue.

Currently trying to login the character Tyvia.

What happens is I get to the character selection screen, choose my character (Tyvia), and then proceed to login. While trying to login it just hangs for a minute or so and then drops me back to the login screen after saying server is not responding.

I was trying to load into kingdom of wind, just tried the character unstuck to move myself back to shadowed grove to see if that changes anything.

EDIT : Loaded in after unstucking back to shadowed grove, so assuming it is an issue with wind or possibly instancing? Will try zoning back into wind to see what happens.

EDIT2 : Apparently this was occuring in non instanced zones before I woke up as well in solb/seb too... so maybe not wind/instancing.

EDIT3 : Zoning into kael now, my zone times seem to be EXTREMELY long and I am not boxing currently just one character up. I am assuming theres some form of packet loss going on when i zone and its just kicking me out maybe? Will update if I ever make it through this zone to kael.

EDIT4 : After a couple minutes of zoning to kael (the load bar filled up and everything) I eventually got a You have been disconnected message and dropped the login.

Reloading now, character seems to have made it into kael even though I didnt get through. It let me in now.

EDIT 5 : After getting back in and gating to shadowed grove I got dropped :/ Shrug gonna try recycling my modem rebooting, something something.

This problem has been around for a long time, including on Live. It does not affect each and every person.

definitely a connection/packet loss issue that only affects a few. others are in for hours and fine.

Yea seem to still be having issues, ill just try back after next reboot/update.

I have no idea what causes it, as it has never been fixed on live. I do know I had more issues with my Broadband connection, than I do now with my DSL connection.


Hmm, I'm also having issues logging in. Just tried, 1 out of 5 tries were successful and when I did get logged in, I was disconnected soon after.

p1999 people are having the issue as well and one person said it his issues were fixed after switching the resolution to the same as Window's resolution.
