Fevarn, The Omniscient

I forget what Fevarn, The Omniscient does. I remember that he stuns and something else. Dispell? I do remember that it is painful. :D

I can post it on the wiki if you want - any opposed to that?

In my humble opinion t8 strats shouldn't be put on the wiki at least until t9 comes out. Besides, half the fun is in figuring the strategies out :)

I tend to agree - that's why I haven't done them. Although Nadox is instanced, so from a competitive standpoint it wouldn't be such a crime... but this is why I asked first.

I agree. Highest tiered strats should be banned from wiki. I don't even like having the t7 on there.

I agree too. It's fun wiping and figuring out strat. Sometimes it's pretty nice to have a tip or two from friends but with the right strategy, most of named become "easy" because it only goes down to having the right toons and people to be focused. Especially if you need intels about Fevarn, who doesn't need much, you will get depressed with next ones  .
It tooks us many tries before killing Vistrinda, and we managed to bypass some of the strategy because we weren't smart enough. Since we managed to kill her without everything, a nice person (who will recognize himself  ) gave us a tip to make it just easier (but we had a success already so it didn't change anything).
But honestly, it's really nice figuring out everything yourself, or at least 90% of the strat.

I wouldn't like to see those being public because it spoils the fun (I insist on the fun because tiers race doesn't mean much to me). Scripts are so good and well thought : have fun discovering them. Be reassured that even without knowing the full strategy of a named, you can sometimes kill them, though there are some fights that leave no window for approximation (you will cry all the tears of your body, and more, when fighting Lithluran  which is an awesome, maybe the sickest, event).

I posted the majority of the DSK content on the wiki. The instance came out in August 2010, and still holds some of my favorite scripts - but I posted it with the understanding that if you want to figure strats out on your own, you'll do just that and keep your hand out of the proverbial cookie jar. For the other folks who are frustrated / struggling / impatient / whatever, I figured they're going to reach out to others for the strategy and get it anyway. The only difference is that the wiki is less social and is more tempting/availabe to browse than asking another player.

I just don't want to see folks get burnt out and leave the server - so the wiki is there if they need it.

I'd like some more feedback though - I don't want to be the spoiler of fun and the work that went into some really cool fight scripts. Is the wiki too tempting or too complete for the 2010 and prior content?

ROFL after reading your post I looked more in depths into the wiki and I realized that indeed you had put the strategies of t7 boss ! I browse wiki a lot to check loots from named but never thought you had put strategies. Well, to be honest, if I was to give my view, I don't like having t7 strategies public, like Melkor said. It's all the fun that is being spoiled and I am pretty sure that people might try once the mob then easily give up. Well you will say that it's their choice to spoil their fun, but well...Temptation is too big and to me, people who rush to high end content in no time without enjoying the hard work done on the game will quickly leave because the game just becomes too trivial.
That's only my 2 coppers though...

And you'll be a happier person for doing so, trust me.
