The rogue lvl70 Illusion disc seems useless. Why not add an offensive disc, like make all backstabs for the next 3-5 ticks be triple backstabs, or something like that. Something to boost dps that is on its own timer.

Beside the people telling me they like it since its unique - all that Rogues get as Discs are Damage Disc and Damage disc and then a Damage disc on top.

Sorry you don't like it.

Oh well. Maybe I just don't see a benefit from it. I've played a rogue on Live since 2000. I was just giving my feedback. I think we would benefit more from Thief's Eye affecting discs being fixed than this.

Personally, I think the disc is fairly worthless in it's current form. The illusion is WAY cool, don't get me wrong. But a rune is the last thing any rogue needs.

If you're taking damage, chances are you stole aggro or you're eating rampage. First of all, if you need a 3.5k rune to survive rampage, then you probably aren't geared/aa'd enough to even attend said raid encounter. Secondly, if you stole aggro, 3.5k isn't going to save you by any stretch of the imagination on any encounter in which you NEED a real tank.

Now, to top this off, have you seen the endurance usage on this? I don't see a number on the allah clone, but I'm pretty sure that my entire endurance pool was used within 5 minutes of having the discipline running (supposed to last for 30 mins at rank 1) and Thoos has almost 16k endurance! This meant that the disc doesn't last very long, and top top that off, while it's running, you can't use ANY other disc. To further add to that point, if you really think you need the rune, chances are the mob is a rough encounter. The point of DPS is to help expedite the fight, so if the mob hits for a ridiculous amount, if you burn it faster, you stand a better chance at survival. So if it's a rough encounter, wouldn't it be better served to have the use of your damage disciplines instead to help burn the mob down?

I never main'd a rogue on live, and I've only boxed them on emu, but I feel like it's worthless to me. At it's current stage, with it's insanely high endurance usage, it's merely an illusion toy and nothing else. In my opinion, leave the illusion, remove the rune, greatly reduce the endurance requirements, and add a modifier to triple attack. Honestly, my complaint is that rogues don't have enough damage discs to use often enough.

I kind of agree with TheBloodmoon that the 3k rune won't mean a squat on a raid encounter.
When you going solo and pull agro of your bot- yeah its good enough (wait, did i just say pull agro of a bot?? Is that even possible??? :lol: )

Anyway, I would propose to the trade the Rune for hate debuff

So perhaps effect could be as following:

1. Illusion
2. reduce agro production from all attacks by 50%

OR, perhaps
increase chance to parry and repost by 10000% (like Rangers WeaponShield disc)

I honestly see no need for a hate reduction disc. I have never stolen aggro from Zilahik (warrior) unless he for some reason loses his buffs and I'm sitting there procc'ing panther nonstop, in which case, even an aggro reduction disc won't help me. Isn't that what evade (or escape, in dire situations) is for? They gave us an aggro reduction disc on Live and I never used it....once.

Level 53 - Counterattack Discipline is a riposte discipline, although it only lasts for two ticks. And Nimble (55) is a dodge (I believe) discipline which lasts for two ticks.
