THe illusion is a base copy of Nimble Disc in terms of Disc type and Endurance usage.
think we would benefit more from Thief's Eye affecting discs being fixed than this.


As i already said a couple times, we can only use effects that are working now.

Let's get together and get some ideas -

i think most people agree that the Illusion is cool and should be kept - now the effect that goes along with it.

Honestly i think yet another damage disc is overkill, especially that i as a Developer don't feel that Rogues need help in the DPS department so i was thinking of some sort of Utility (Selos/DA sort of things maybe?)

Also, the Endurance drain could be countered with an innate Endurange gain equal of the disc.

On the other hand, im just tossing out ideas. If the Rogue community believes that more Damage Disc are more fun - and this is what the game is about - we can also go this route.

Well well well enough about you rog's lol JK

I wanted to say something about the Cleric spell Unwavering Faith I (i am assuming there are II III or more have not seen them) but anyway it is a defensive disc spell lasting 42 mins and recast takes for ever i tried timing it and lost track of time but best i could tell was over 25mins which is not bad i guess cause you don't want this casted on every tank in the game at once. Here are my problem with it, unless i just wrong and seeing strange stuff which wonted be the first time. In Defensive disc you take less dmg and deal less dmg which is hard to keep agro if you have someone dealing as much or more dmg then you, so the spell at that point is useless. And i know what some are going to say use other disc, Aug up taunt etc to keep agro which yeah if you can do that great if you have augs awesome, but not all us baby warriors do. I was using this last night in Kael and with out it boxing Clr for healer and Warr. decent gear mostly ToV or St some Fire, with Rog bot with little TOV gear and i tried this out with out the Spell War keep agro with no prob and dealt decent dmg out, i then casted the spell on War. and Rog bot keep taking agro and dieing i couldnt get it back from him with disc area taunt etc.

I think there needs to be something added or a new disc that will give agro to the person with the spell on to at least grab adn maintain agro for a short durtion

For the new rogue disc, I'd rather have a rune rather than an agro reduction effect... my warrior holds agro just fine against my rogue. Although, I would prefer a dps enhancing disc, I don't think the class needs a significant boost in that department.

What about a multi-boost in avoidance, shielding, dot shielding, spell shielding & resistances? Kinda similar to a rune, but with a twist. This would be very helpful in boss fights.

Honestly, I just don't know what could possibly be more useful than daggerfall every 30 seconds... I mean, if you have invis man running, you can't use any other disc, right? Well, if you daggerfall in combat every 30 seconds (by using sneak/hide/disc macro key) then you can't have invis man on. This means it's a very situational disc, and I don't see many, if any, situations that warrants it's use. Honestly, I don't know where to go with it from here, but it just seems useless in it's form as a long duration discipline. The only option is allow it to go to the short duration buff window, stack with all disciplines (which as of now, this is broken), and stack with thief's eyes.

As for unwavering faith, I kept it on Tankzor for a couple hours straight in PoAir, and never lost aggro once, against a 2.0 monk and a 2.0 rog, both with epic clickies and panther buffs running. I also used the second rank of this spell, and found it to be quite useful. I found that I wasn't burning mana as quickly. Albeit a small margin, it still helped. I even was able to tank the mini named with it on. Good work on that one, imo.

Your assumption is wrong though, UF only helps in the mitigation department, doesnt lower your damage output like the original disc defensive.

For other possible ideas for rogue discs a great place to start would be the Fadelure line that is intoduced to rogues in later expansions of live. It's a trap of sorts that does two big things, first when triggered it set off an AE mez followed up by a memblur. This disc made rogues viable pullers for some situations(at least until they nerfed the resists on it). Another disc idea that might not be too bad of an idea to kick around would be some type of endurance regenerating one.(again borrowing from later tomes found on live) Kinda worked out like a HoT for the endurance bar, short duration(1 min ish) ... had like an hour reuse i think.
