CoH Poll

Alright, so we all know the issues that surrounded CoH before. I'm not going to waste time detailing them here.

What the developers want to know, is simply what makes the players happier when it comes to CoH. Right now we are looking at 3 options:

1) Limit CoH to group/raid
2) Limit CoH to group/raid/guild
3) Remove all limitations on CoH and add a confirmation box to the spell.

Obviously they all have their Pros and cons. Know that CoH will NOT be returning to its previous state, so posting with comments like that will only get this thread locked.

Keep things simple and precise, when you make your choice keep the other players in mind also. A player who boxes 12 characters may not want to have to click a confirmation box on each screen just to move his characters.

The poll will remain open until Friday and the CoH changes will be put in this weekend.

As a boxer (12/18) i do not want the confirmation box.
Raid/group/guild option prevents from abuse and fix players complains which Led to the logical change.

My first choice would be the box and then the raid/group/guild option.
Reasoning behind this is when F. Ro is killed and someone needs a flag hail if they are not in r/g/g the fairy will not go to waste and can still help fellow adventurers with the confirmation box

My vote would be for group/raid/guild, confirmation box would be second tho, it would be annoying as a 11 boxer, but nothing i couldnt work around by some quick alt tabs.

Could you combine those last 2 options? If you're in my group/raid/guild there are no restrictions but if you are not there is a confirmation box. If that's not possible I vote group/raid/guild.

There are several other options that I could bring up besides F Ro, just helping others is not a bad thing even if they are not part of your group/guild/raid.

When you first started playing did you just automatically start with "xx" amount of toons fully geared so that you could get anything that you wanted or when someone /ooc something and you said "damn that is nice" but you could not run to get it as it would be poofed or you might even die on the run was that something that does not make this server unique to part of the aura that makes this server what it is?
Another example my cleric got HoGlo from someone coh'ing me to it I would not of gotten this when I did except from the kindness of someone saying hey I can coh you here. No they did not have to do it I still do not have to have it (Hell the only thing you have to do in life is be born, pay taxes, and die) but it sure makes it easier to do a group buff other than a single buff.
Once again I would go for the box option first and then the g/g/r option and yes filterring thru 6 toons can be a pain in the arse but I honestly do not mind helping others when I can

I voted confirmation box, which I would def follow up with Group/raid/guild. Although someone elses suggestion of a combination of both would be awesome. I had a guildmember kill one of the Epic 1.5 dragons last night, in search of a Proof, and had 2 rotting bloods, he chose to ooc no coh.. simply because his group was full and it would be a pain to move his toons in and out to coh someone in. I hate to see things like that rot when I know how difficult it can be for a newly 70 toon to find the dragons up, and mange the kill before some uber does it instead.

I wish this change wasn't necessary, but I understand the need to make a change.

I like Lumpa's idea.
If possible, G/R/G with confirmation box for anyone that is not in G/R/G?
I think that would address the griefing issue while still retaining maximum freedom and flexibility possible.

Otherwise G/R/G is my vote.
