One bug fix today (more below on that) and a new addition. We've added a new NPC to The Hidden Vale. His name is Nexus and he is trialling a new service for players who wish to form raids with others without needing to be in the same guild (or even in a guild at all). The initial trial will be to allow you to create and join an instance for Dreadspire Keep III, as discussed in this thread.
This is Nexus and where you will find him:
Nexus will provide you all the instructions you need so you can just speak with him directly but here's a guide:
o You must be flagged for DSK III otherwise Nexus will not be able to offer you his service.
o If you have already entered your guild version of DSK III in the last 24 hours, Nexus won't be able to create an instance for you.
o To create a new instance or join an existing one, you will need to buy a Prism of Dreadspire III from Nexus. They cost 4 copper currently (this will change once this goes fully live)
o Hand the prism back to Nexus and he will give you two options, one to create a new instance and another to join an existing one.
o Your purchase is valid indefinitely until you claim it by creating a new instance or entering an existing one. You can claim this whenever you feel like it.
o Creating a new instance will assign you as the instance leader. Nexus will assign you to the instance immediately. He will provide you with a key (this is the instance ID). You will need to share this key with everyone that you want to join you in the instance.
o They then buy a prism, hand it to Nexus and then opt to join an instance.
o He will ask them to confirm the instance leader's name.
o If they say the instance leader's name correctly, Nexus will confirm this and then ask for the key.
o This is just to make sure everyone joins the correct instance (in theory, there might be several live at any time).
o If the player correctly says the key, then they will be assigned to that instance.
o Nexus will then let you enter that instance (and only Nexus).
o If you try to enter the DSK III instance via the shattered gargoyle, it will inform you that you cannot do so and will tell you how long is left on the Nexus instance.
If this trial is successful, we will roll out more Raid Zone Masters to allow you to create guild-free raid zone instance for all progression zones that are guild-locked currently!
For any bugs, please use the forums as normal.
o One other fix: Fixed the nooses used in the pet quest in Causeway so that they're no longer temporary. Side note: Nothing in this zone should be temporary so if you spot anything that is please let us know ASAP and we'll fix them!
