So for autologin I can use eqgame.exe that thf setup guides say never run? Will try if so.

You never just run eqgame or everquest - the eqgame will have patchme which tells it to skip patching

Added in some pathing to BAT file and no more XML error but now instruction at referenced memory cannot be read.

Awww great now I cant even get in manually. After clicking Play on THF patcher, black screen then no screen.

Got back in by coyping backup of EQ folder. Will mess with this autologin again another time, maybe.

Im currently able to login all the way to sever select screen and then it stops.

UF autologin is not works like "HiddenForest=[] The Hidden Forest [ www.thehiddenforest.org ]"

you have to use HiddenForest=server number instead of it

that's why rof2's different

Also having the issue with autologin that previous poster was where it gets stuck at server select. If I use the regular eqemu login it works fine. However, if I use THF's login it does not. I have characters linked on accounts that were created with THF accounts so if I use emu's login autologin works, most of my toons however are MIA. If I use THF server I can't use autologin but have my toons. Any suggestions?

The name on the server list is different on the emu login versus THF.
The server name after the = for thf login should be like below.
=The Hidden Forest [ www.thehiddenforest.org ]

I'm trying out a newer version of mq2. It was listed at mq2emulator.net as their Gold beta but has since been taken down. It appears that this version might be the same as what Redguides uses. See attachments for how to see which general version you run.

I've got the freebie and Gold versions of autologin working just fine. I doubleclick on the desktop icon that represents my toon and away I go. But this newer version has a built-in launcher that does not get past the server select. I've tried the usual ways of typing the true name of the THF server but no luck.
