I'm trying to get a command to remove buffs on all my characters (click off the donor arms illusion because I like my original EQ models). I've seen in other forums mention /removebuff. However, when I use that command it says "DoCommand - Couldn't parse...."

Do you need a certain plugin for this? or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

This one is baked into the game itself. Just right click the illusion portion of the buff in your song window and an option to block it will be on the list.

The only way I could get that error is by using /removebuffs instead of /removebuff.

If you are talking about the werewolf buff from Sune, thats from Moon Curse Rk. III. This buff in-turn procs another spell called Form of the Moon Cursed which shows up in your Song box, not your Buff box. I don't know why.

The command /removebuff form worked for me (there was no need to spell out the full name).

I 'm not sure, but I believe this to be a base MQ2 command.

If you want to remove a buff from all your toons, then /bcga //removebuff blah. Or if your version of MQ2 predates the /bcg command then use either /bcaa or use MQ2 groups.

You can also remove bluffs using regular EQ methods. Right click on a buff and choose Remove. To prevent it from landing on your toon in the future, choose "Add this spell to your list of blocked spells". To see that list and to manually add the spell (by typing the name), push your EQ button, choose Character, then Blocked Buffs.
