Enrikk did you ever find a solution to this? And are you using UF client? Think someone might be having this same issue with //stick using UF client. Trying to troubleshoot it with him right now. If we find a solution i'll post it here. If you found one can you post it as well?

Thanks,
Sticky

/pause 5,/bca //target <me>
/bca //stick

If that is actually the macro that you have typed out, you need to use multiline for it too work. You can try something like this:

Code: Select all

/multiline ; /bca //target id ${Me.ID} ; /bca //stick

btw the behavoir, best as i can described it, is when he uses /stick he toons do a side step dance in front of him instead of turning to him and following.

We tried to disable mq2fps and also turned max background fps up to 30. Also tried without the use of WinEQ. Doesn't seem to be a problem based on processing per frames.

hes using /bca //stick id ${Me.ID} !front
which is the same command I have been using without issues. I also use UF client.

Not sure what to try now :I

oh i should also note that when he gives each client focus, they /stick correctly, which is why i was trying to mess with fps settings.

ok we got it working, woot!

i replaced both his MQ2MoveUtils.dll and the MQ2MoveUtils.ini

so im not sure if his dll was just corrupt (not likely, since it was working, just not correctly) or the settings in his ini were off. I have listed the settings below so if anyone else has this issues you can try to copy these setting in your MQ2MoveUtils.INI file and see if it helps.

[Defaults]
AutoPause=on
ManualPause=on
BreakOnWarp=on
BreakDist=600.0
BreakOnGate=on
Verbosity=1
stuckDist=0.2
turnDirection=-10.0
stuckCheck=5
StuckLogic=on
LeashLength=100.0
CampRadius=20.0
MinDelay=500
MaxDelay=5000

we found a thread talking about this problem and they suggesting adding this line to the MQ2MoveUtils.INI

WinEQ=on

after he added that its been working on all toons. not really sure why, we tried it with and without WinEQ running. but sure works great after that line was added.

I see, that would have been a difficult problem to troubleshoot. Glad you got it working.

Thanks for all the suggestions;

I'm using SoF client.

I'll try all this stuff out when I get in later today or tomorrow.

Again, Thanks!

Hail All!

Sadly, none of the corrections seems to be working as planned. When I click the button I set up for stick, they do run to me and it seems that they will stick. But, when I move, they start out with me, and then just go in different directions.

My framerate looks to run in the 30s to 40s when I look at the screen, but when it's minimized the others look to be running under 10fps.

Would having maps, or not having them, cause a problem? Also, I added the WinEQ=on line, but I'm not running WinEQ, at least as far as I know. It didn't cause any new problems, however.

I did reload the moveutils, but that didn't seem to make a difference either. Now it's more of a project than anything I'm playing for. I mean, I survived forever without it, so I think I'll live, but fixing it would be nice, if only to know how.
